Went to see Cats this afternoon. Given the scathing reviews by the ‘experts’ we expected an empty theater.. All I can say is I loved it. The dancing was spectacular, It was complemented by incredible staging. At times it was almost visual overload. And OK, this might be shallow but seeing ballet performed by dancers in skin tight costumes was a feast for the eyes. So harrumph to the critics, don’t be swayed by their poisonous hubris, go see Cats!
